HISTORY
Established in 2006, Mark Lowdon is the Founder and President of AAE Tech Services Inc. Mark is an aquatic biologist with over 15 years of experience working in the Province of Manitoba and across Canada. Mark and his staff have valuable experience managing both small and large-scale projects.
Projects successfully completed by AAE to date include; projects in fisheries biology and invertebrate ecology; projects in fisheries enhancement and restoration, including fish passage design and monitoring; environmental monitoring and impact assessments; instream flow needs and habitat suitability assessments; fish and fish habitat inventories; watershed inventories; riparian zone classification and restoration; fish habitat compensation and mitigation planning; projects with GIS and mapping components; fisheries research including age determination of over 30 freshwater and marine fish species; and fish salvage operations.

We maintain a large inventory of field equipment to meet our clients diverse needs year round, including but not limited to: a fleet of boats (e.g. zodiacs, Jon Boats, Eletrofishing boats), netting and capture equipment (e.g. gill, seine and trapnets, backpack electrofishers), surveying equipment, water quality probes and meters, sediment corers and sediment grabs, and a bathymetry array.
